En378 under implementation will cover part of CoP (also many other directives and standards)
EU/National laws/directives/standards regulations need to be included and clarified on a practical level
Trade committee need to implement EN378/CoP
Also (later) comment on drafts in EU standardisation process (CEN)
CoP follow laws and laws support CoP
The CoP will:
- Support improved standard of installation/service in the sector;
- Be consistent with the National legislation and other relevant legal requirements and accepted industry/trade practices;
- Provide details of the general legal requirements with respect to design and procedures for maintenance;
- Meet objectives in the areas of environmental protection, customer protection and health and safety aspects;
- Meet requirements for the certification and licensing system;
- Be developed in close collaboration with representatives from the trade and organizations from different sectors and relevant authorities. This will be done through interviews, survey and by conducting a number of consultative workshops.
